There are a lot of beauty bloggers, Instagrammers and YouTubers out there right now. It’s difficult for them to make a splash in a sea so big and many of us consumers are becoming a little tired with the same old make-up looks sweeping our Insta feeds. From impossible contouring to inspirational eye-make up looks for Saturday night, we love our regular beauty Instagrammers – but we’re always in need something new.
Here we bring you some of our favourite beauty players on the Gram right now, bringing a little something new to the beauty sphere. We, for one, are loving them.
@katiejanehughes
Bringing us realism and, at the same time, unreal amounts of dewy gorgeousness is Katie Jane Hughes from NYC. With 136K followers, she’s no stranger to many in the biz and we love her for her glossy skin, brushed up eyebrows and fearless usage of colourful glitter on the eye.
@icovetthee
She’s a beauty and lifestyle blogger and that sense of style certainly reflects into the flawless curation of her Instagram feed. You won’t get bored of seeing these stunningly edited images popping up on your feed, we promise you that. Branding favourites seem to be Bobbi Brown and Nars, and most looks you see on the Gram that you like, you can find a how-to vid on YouTube to match. That’s Insta make-up made easy.
@freshlengths
An ASOS model and self-confessed “insider”, Lesley from @freshlengths is giving us all sorts of hair envy. Alongside seemingly endless afro hairstyles, she also has us living for her pops of bright eye-make, flawless contouring and realistic, chit-chat style captions.
@lisapotterdixon
As head make-up artist at Benefit Cosmetics, you’d expect Lisa Potter Dixon to be fantastic at make-up, sure. However, it’s the glimpse into her personal life and her conversational Insta Stories that we love the most. Breaking down her looks, she makes it easy enough for any mere novice to jump on board, and that’s the kind of tutorial we like to see on the Gram.
@patmcgrathreal
Now, we’re fully aware that this isn’t a brand-new account we’re letting you in on – however, Pat McGrath should be making it on to every Insta beauty list from now until forever as far as we’re concerned! With clients from Cara Delavigne and Gigi Hadid, alongside 1.9 million Insta followers, she really is the real deal when it comes to make-up.
@violette_fr
If you’re a fan of an eye-poppingly bright burst of colour on the lip or eyes, you might want to check out Estée Lauder Beauty Director, Violette, on Instagram. Beware of her envy-inducing feed, featuring too chic to be real snap-shots of her life and watch out for plenty a splash of colour. Also a keen YouTuber, Violette has amassed a following of over 200K fans, no doubt due to her perfectly pieced together feed. Certainly one to check out if you don’t have her already.
Instagram can be a fickle world and we’re always on the hunt for something new and beautiful. Try scrolling through a few of these ladies’ feeds and we’re pretty sure you’ll be covered for new content for a while.
